A new HOLT-backed systems integration technology company in San Antonio is hiring key roles to help in its mission to find digital solutions in the heavy equipment, manufacturing, construction, energy and sustainability industries.

The newly formed company, Epiphany Industrial Technologies, is helmed by President Joyce Pingel, HOLT CAT's chief information officer and head of digital innovation. Pingel said she found the need for a systems integration company in San Antonio's ecosystem when she realized there was a gap between HOLT's needs and available providers that could integrate IT systems for industrial companies.

San Antonio-based HOLT CAT, a family-owned company founded in 1933, is the largest dealer of Caterpillar equipment in the United States.

Industrial companies often use a wide range of digital systems and software applications to manage customer relationships, deploy sales tools and payment systems as well as other tasks. Epiphany's role will be integrating these systems and enabling companies to use the fewest platforms necessary. The company will also help configure software applications for customers.

Epiphany currently has listings posted for five key roles, including senior data engineer, senior data integration engineer and senior technology recruiter. According to a company release, it is also hiring other project manager and developer roles. Marcie Hernandez Ramsey, a spokesperson for the company, told the Business Journal that Epiphany plans to add 12 new hires within the next year, and double the total employee count in the second year. Both San Antonio-based and hybrid positions will be available.

Pingel's background is in information technology and digital solutions for large organizations, where she has taken on senior roles in multiple industries. David Kash will be joining her as vice president of solution delivery and Dinu Mathai as vice president of solution engineering.

Corinna Holt Richter, HOLT president and chief administrative officer, said Pingel's commitment to the systems integration project and to the continuing education of employees prompted the company's choice to invest in Epiphany. CEO Peter Holt said Epiphany's role will add long-term value to the company.

Pingel added that construction and manufacturing businesses of all sizes need technology partners to boost productivity and improve efficiency.

“We’re a new company with entrepreneurial energy but have the stability of an industry leader," she said.

We confirmed that Epiphany plans to add 12 new hires within the next year and expect the total employee count to double in the second year.  San Antonio-based and hybrid postions are available.
