San Antonio-based XPEL Inc. names new Board of Directors member

XPEL saw its profits rise more than 300% in the first quarter of 2021.

San Antonio-based XPEL Inc. (Nasdaq: XPEL) has appointed Stacy Bogart to its Board of Directors.

Bogart is currently senior vice president, general counsel, corporate secretary and corporate responsibility for Iowa-headquartered Winnebago Industries Inc. (NYSE: WGO), which makes marine products and recreational vehicles.

She also serves as president of the Winnebago Industries Foundation, and remains on the senior team that sets company global strategy and deals with legal, governmental and product compliance and safety issues. She heads environmental, social and governance initiatives company-wide and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions. Recently, she played a key role in the acquisition of Chris-Craft, Newmar and Barletta Boats by Winnebago Industries.

Previous positions include leadership roles at Polaris Inc., the Toro Company and Honeywell International Inc.

She's also a director of the Greater Twin Cities United Way and a member of the Leadership Council for the Mayo Clinic.

President and CEO of XPEL Ryan Pape said Bogart's strong background in mergers and acquisitions would be valuable as the company grows.

XPEL, founded in 2003, makes protective films and coatings like automative paint protection film, surface protection film, ceramic coatings and auto and architectural window films.

XPEL saw its profits rise more than 300% in the first quarter of 2021 and it acquired five companies in the U.S. and Canada later that year, as well as the UK-based invisiFRAME Ltd., a provider of of custom bicycle frame protection kits.
