Six San Antonio companies have earned a spot on the 2022 Inc. 5000 Regionals List of Economic All-Stars of the Southwest.

AmeriVet Partners Management, an acquisition company of veterinary providers, was the highest-ranked San Antonio business to make the list, landing at No. 49 on the list of 141 regional all-stars with 240% growth. AmeriVet Partners, with Canadian beginnings, put down roots with San Antonio as its new capital in July 2018, and now has practices in more than two dozen states.

Thomas Thill, its CEO, said he felt the company's inclusion on the list was a testament to the region's resilience during the pandemic, as AmeriVet sat side-by-side with other southwest businesses that "continued to prosper despite the challenges of the past few years."

The five other Alamo City companies to make the 2022 list were logistics and transportation company Tanager Logistics, ranked 98th with 102% growth; AMODA-CYN, which operates as Alta Moda Salon, ranked 99th with 99% growth; advertising and marketing company Stirista, ranked 105th with 94% growth; the Plastic and Cosmetic Center, a plastic surgery practice, ranked 123rd with 74% growth; and IT management company Sandoval Technology Solutions ranked 136th with 63% growth.

Stirista CEO Ajay Gupta attributed the company's inclusion on the list to his "go-getter team," growing momentum in the digital marketing realm, and its recent launch and adoption of key identity and CTV-based solutions.

The list — run by business-media brand Inc. Media — is an annual compilation produced since 1982 that analyzes company data and ranks the fastest-growing privately held businesses in America. The most recent 2022 list is ranked according to percentage revenue growth between 2018 and 2020 and includes only companies that were founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2018.

Last year, 25 San Antonio companies made the 2021 list, with residential and commercial solar energy company Texas Solar Integrated LLC ranking No. 11 with a growth of 22,381%.

Overall, the 141 companies on the 2022 southwest regionals list added 10,563 jobs and nearly $10.9 billion to the region’s economy.
