On Monday, HOLT Truck Centers announced it bought the Summit Truck Group locations in Oklahoma and Wichita Falls, Texas — expanding its truck service and sales area.

HOLT Truck Centers provides rebuilds, parts and services for on-highway trucks, RVs and trailers of any make or model. This newest acquisition brings the company up to 12 total locations across Texas and Oklahoma.

The purchase included locations in five Oklahoma cities: Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Enid, Muskogee and Ardmore. Though the acquisition also includes a Wichita Falls territory, no plans have been announced for its unveiling.

Dallas-area Summit Truck Group operates commercial dealerships in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee.

HOLT, a family-owned company based in San Antonio, has been in the business of heavy equipment and Caterpillars since 1904. Besides HOLT Truck Centers, its other divisions include HOLT CAT, HOLT Crane & Equipment, Texas First Rentals, HOLT Manufacturing, SITECH Tejas, HOLT Renewables, HOLT Industrial Systems and HOLT Used.
