The event at Morgan's Wonderland had a rock 'n roll theme.

A sold-out crowd of enthusiastic guests and honorees gathered March 23 for a fun-filled night to celebrate San Antonio Business Journal's 40 Under 40 award winners.

After taking a year off from in-person events due to the Covid-19 pandemic, more than 400 guests arrived ready to party.

The event at Morgan's Wonderland had a rock 'n roll theme. Many guests came dressed in their favorite concert T-shirts or costumes complete with wigs, makeup and temporary tattoos. Live music from the Chris Boss band entertained the crowd while they enjoyed food like Meatloaf sliders, Fiona's Apple salad and Cherry Garcia stuffed tomatoes.

One-by-one the 40 honorees were honored on stage, accompanied by their favorite rock 'n roll song.

The highlight of the night was naming of the 40 Under 40 Man of the Year, Jordan Ghawi, 35, and Woman of the Year, Connie Gonzalez, 31.

SABJ looks forward to seeing what the future holds in the hands of this year's honorees.
