Sacramento area has 24 fast-growing companies on Inc. 5000 list

The Sacramento area has 24 companies on this year's Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America.

The 24 local companies represented 2020 total revenue of $974.2 million and 3,530 jobs added, Inc. magazine reported.

Of those companies, four were newly founded, and nine of them had previously achieved a spot on the Inc. 5000 list.

Last year, 21 local companies made the list, which is compiled by the magazine using revenue numbers over three years and ending in 2020.

The fastest-growing local company, ranking No. 383 on the national list, is Truity Psychometrics LLC, a Roseville company that develops and publishes online personality and career tests. It experienced 1,252% revenue growth over the past three years.

Next in highest revenue growth was RCG Logistics in Sacramento, with 999% growth.

The other local companies on the list are:

  • Sacramento-based Salesforce.com Inc. (NYSE:CRM) partner Zennify Inc., 409% growth
  • Folsom-based workers’ compensation insurance company Samuel Hale LLC, 391% growth
  • West Sacramento auto repair shop Maxat Hybrid Repair, 372% growth
  • Sacramento information technology management consulting and staffing company Fortuna Business Management Consulting, 333% growth
  • Rancho Cordova telecom company NextEdge Networks Holdings LLC, 275% growth
  • Rancho Cordova-based staffing company MDstaffers, 197% growth
  • Sacramento IT management company The iFish Group Inc., 183% growth
  • Roseville accounting firm Measured Results, A Professional Accounting Corp., 176% growth
  • Folsom marketing company OnCore Leads, 155% growth
  • Sacramento technology consulting company Cambria Solutions, 126% growth
  • Roseville telephone captioning communications company ClearCaptions, 114% growth
  • Roseville marketing firm Blast Analytics & Marketing, 87% growth
  • Folsom education technology company PowerSchool Holdings Inc. (NYSE: PWSC), 84% growth. PowerSchool raised gross proceeds of $808.6 million in an initial public offering this summer.
  • Sacramento technology consulting company GNT Solutions, 74% growth
  • Sacramento education company Delta Managed Solutions, 73% growth
  • El Dorado Hills construction company Senga Energy, 71% growth
  • Loomis-based body shop company Collision Pros, 69% growth
  • El Dorado Hills insurance company Patra Corp., 69% growth
  • Gold River-based specialty construction company Five Star Restoration & Construction Inc., 56% growth
  • Roseville dental practice marketing company SMC National Inc., 53% growth
  • Gold River disaster food preparedness company Meals for All Inc., 53% growth
  • El Dorado Hills real estate management company ProEquity Asset Management Corp., 45% growth

California had 682 companies on the list, the most of any state. Those companies had an average growth rate of 200%, compared to the national average of 167%.

The California companies on the list had combined revenue of $40.6 billion in 2020, and they accounted for 179,455 jobs added to the economy, according to the Inc. spreadsheet.
