After readers casted 2,600 votes, the Sweet 16 round of Richmond Inno’s Tech Madness bracket is set.

(Scroll down to the bottom to vote companies into the Elite 8.)

While there were thousands of votes cast in Round 1, several matchups were decided by a nail-biting margin.

Outdoor Access just squeezed out a win over WorkPath, and Major Clarity narrowly pulled off the W over underdog Naborforce to stay alive in the tournament. The contest between Totem and No. 1 seed Uzurv was decided – in Totem's favor – by two votes.

A few other major upsets shook up Round 1: North South 804 Apps (with more than 100 votes) knocked out No. 1 seed ARtGlass, and Buddy sent No. 2 seed Nutriati packing. The other No. 1 seeds – TemperPack and Health Warrior – survived the round.

The Sweet 16 features a handful of enticing matchups from fast-growing Richmond tech companies.

The top two vote-getters of Round 1, AnswersNow and OccasionGenius, are going head to head. Meanwhile, a brains v. brawn battle is brewing between financial software maker ChartIQ and recreational land rental platform Outdoor Access.
