RI Startup Week: This is your chance to catch more than 50 events surrounding the 2nd Annual full week celebrating Innovation & Entrepreneurship throughout Rhode Island.  RI Startup Week is the result of a successful RI Startup Day in 2018 that was produced by the Rhode Island Coalition of Entrepreneurs (RICE). New England Female Founders (NEFF) & Those Who Support Them: The New England Female Founders organization is for female founders of high-growth startups. We also invite those people, including great men, who support our efforts. The group is focused on women who are running high-potential growth startups. Startup Pitch Competition: The Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Social Enterprise Greenhouse (SEG), will host a Startup Pitch Competition and Business Resource Showcase at Innovate Newport on Friday, October 7, as part of Rhode Island Start Up Week 2022. The Pitch Competition will have 10 startup businesses present 3 minute presentations to the audience in order to compete for several comprehensive prize packages that include cash, legal services, marketing services, as well as business support services. Women Leading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Falvey Insurance Group will host its final 2022 installment of its “Women at the Helm” speaker series celebrating women leading diversity, equity, and inclusion in their professional and personal endeavors.
