1. American City Business Journals is launching the Providence Business Journal, which will be a close partner with us here at Rhode Island Inno in covering startups and innovation in the Ocean State.

2. A Texas-based technology firm that announced plans to create 250 jobs in Rhode Island has qualified for up to $3.5 million in state tax credits, the Providence Business Journal reports.

3. Beeline Loans, a Rhode Island startup that touts its digital home lending platform, has raised $10.1 million in early-stage funding, the Providence Business Journal reports.

4. Pawtucket-based Nautilus Defense and Bristol-based Composite Energy Technologies each got $50,000 in innovation vouchers from the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation, a program that funds companies work on new and innovative projects.

5. A Rhode Island company claims its stroller has "the fastest one-hand fold on the market." They've already sold one-third of their inventory.

6. Fifteen promising startups with ties to Brown University unveiled their ideas at the Jonathan M. Nelson Center for Entrepreneurship’s Breakthrough Lab showcase. Meet the companies here.

7. The Providence Business Journal reports that Provdotnet LLC has agreed to be a reseller, cloud service provider, and technology partner with Virtuozzo, a global leader in alternative cloud solutions.

8. The Providence Business Journal reports that the Rhode Island Foundation is creating a pipeline for the next generation of CEOs and executive directors of color in the state.

9. Meet all 10 of the graduates from the 2021 Providence Design Catalyst program run by the non-profit DESIGNxRI.

10. DiPrete Engineering Associates Inc. has acquired the assets of Andrews Survey & Engineering Inc., creating one of the largest land surveying operations in Southern New England, according to Providence Business Journal.
