Did you know that 75 percent of Rhode Island designers do work for clients out of state? That's a whole lot.
“One of our goals is not to just talk to ourselves,” said DesignxRI's Lisa Carnevale in an earlier report. “Part of our mission is to tell people outside of here that talent’s here, and [that there’s] interest from outside that are attending these events.”
That's what DesignxRI's annual Design Week event aims to do, when it will be in full swing from September 13th through the 24th.
The rub (if you could even call it that)? It's boasting more than 55 events across the state, and you've only got somuch time. We've taken their expansive schedule and laid it all out here, in descending date order per category. There's also links back to each event's registration pages so you can get more information, if necessary, and register once you find a program that strikes your fancy.
