Nominations for Rhode Island Inno’s annual Fire Awards are now open. Submit your picks here by May 31.
Fire is our premier awards showcase, celebrating the 25 startups, growing companies and individuals that have had a banner year within the local ecosystem. The Inno team will review our coverage from the past year and inbound nominations to determine who will be on the Fire list, grouped into categories. Those groups are presented to a panel of judges (local influencers and community leaders) who vote on one honoree per category they feel has made the biggest impact or contribution to the ecosystem (the Inno Blazer) for each category.
For a little inspiration (and a brief refresher), check out last year's class of Fire honorees and Blazers.
Traditionally, the businesses we honor have raised funding, released a game-changing product, filed several patents, emerged from stealth, landed a massive partner or client, built a mentor network, initiated charitable give-back programs, made a significant hire, expanded internationally or executed a successful pivot. We also spotlight individuals who are leading, supporting or assisting these organizations.
So, take a moment to ask yourself: Who have you seen cementing Rhode Island as an innovation hub? We invite you and your team, friends and family to submit a nomination. If someone is helping you scale, pivot or grow, please tell us about them. If there’s a company you’ve been impressed by this year, even if you’re not involved with them, send a nomination our way.
