Fourteen consumer product companies from Oregon are participating in the latest PIE Consumer accelerator class.

The latest class includes food and beverage, footwear and wellness startups. The program includes four months of “intense mentorship and peer support” as well as access and discounts to professional services such as coworking space CENTRL Office and the Built Festival.

The program is a partnership between Portland Incubator Experiment and the nonprofit Built Oregon, which works to connect and support consumer product founders around the state.

Here’s who is participating:

  • Albina Nuts, a Portland-based maker of candied and savory nuts.
  • Altitude, a Bend-based CBD coffee beverage maker.
  • Avyn, a Portland maker of nursing bras.
  • For Bitter of Worse, a Portland-based zero-proof cocktail maker.
  • HAB, a Portland hot sauce maker.
  • Mise, a Portland footwear startup focused on shoes for chefs.

“Oregon boasts so many compelling consumer products companies and amazing founders that it’s incredibly difficult to select the appropriate mix of companies, each year,” said Built co-founder and Director Mitch Daugherty. “With this group, we’re looking forward to helping these promising brands navigate the post-pandemic economy with the assistance of our community of knowledgeable and talented mentors.”

This is just one accelerator program run by PIE. The others, which work with software and hardware startups, are currently on-boarding companies that will start programming later this month. PiE will launch a program later this month that will work to address the housing crisis.
