Portland marketing software company LeadsRx has been acquired by Vancouver, British Columbia-based Unbounce.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the 21 employees of LeadsRx will remain on board and the company will operate independently. LeadsRx CEO AJ Brown will also continue to lead the LeadsRx business.
LeadsRx created analytics software to make it easier for marketers to understand the performance of marketing channels. It’s used across digital, radio, TV, streaming and other advertising channels to see conversions and return on ad spending.
The company works with more than 5,000 global brands including iHeartMedia, Cumulus Media and Rakuten Advertising. LeadsRx was founded in 2015 by Brown and Jeff Keenan.
For Unbounce, the deal brings in added capabilities to help customers understand more of their marketing outcomes. It also brings the company a footprint in the U.S. for expansion.
“Unbounce and LeadsRx share a vision for the future of marketing that machines and marketers can work better together to produce the best results possible,” said Brown in a written statement. “We're bringing together some of the most creative and inventive engineers, marketing and customer services professionals — I'm excited for what the future holds and the innovative products we will be able to offer companies and agencies around the world.”
As a result of this deal, Unbounce plans to invest in the LeadsRx business and hire across engineering, sales and marketing. Last year, Unbounce raised $38 million from investors led by by Crest Rock Partners.
“By combining LeadsRx’s wealth of new data with our conversion intelligence platform, we have the opportunity to deliver conversion value to marketers across a wider spectrum of the marketing funnel,” said Tamara Grominsky, chief strategy officer of Unbounce in a written statement. “We’re thrilled to welcome LeadsRx to the Unbounce team as we continue our journey of bringing conversion intelligence solutions to marketers around the world.”
