Digital services company PK named former Cognizant Technology Solutions exec Anjan Sur as chief financial officer.

Sur takes over today from Craig Stack who is retiring from PK after 16 years with the company.

This is the third new executive at the growing company since October. Last fall the Beaverton-based company named Dinesh Venugopal CEO. Earlier this month it named company veteran Nancy Peterson as chief people officer.

“PK is on a significant growth trajectory and we don't anticipate that changing as we look to the future. I am delighted to welcome Anjan to PK as we continue capitalizing on market opportunities and drive forward on executing our growth strategy,” Venugopal said in a written statement.

Sur was most recently a senior vice president for Cognizant (Nasdaq: CTSH) based in New York. He spent 16 years with that company, which is a business consultant and IT outsourcing firm. Sur brings leadership expertise in corporate finance and operations as well as global business acumen.

PK has 4,500 employees across 22 offices in four countries.

"Having a global view on the industry, customer and partner landscape is a critical component to our growth strategy and something that Anjan inherently brings to the organization," said PK co-founder and co-president Vijay Ijju in a written statement. "Craig has been with us since the early years and will be missed by everyone at PK. As CFO, Anjan will build upon the strong foundation laid by Craig and provide big-picture thinking as well as necessary oversight and structure."

The company works with clients across industries to make custom software and facilitate the digital transformation of businesses. It is backed by private equity firm The Carlyle Group. The company has grown significantly over the years and made a number of acquisitions. Stack was named a CFO of the year in 2020 by the Business Journal.
