A nonprofit manufacturing innovation institute has added a new ability to its national job board platform that aims to better match applicants with careers in the robotics industry.

The Hazelwood Green-based ARM Institute announced that its RoboticsCareer.org platform now boasts the ability to match job seekers with an employer based on their supplied skills or goals. It's an ability that extends to the more than 16,700 openings across apprenticeships, internships and full-time positions that are available on the platform, which can lead to careers in manufacturing that involve robotics.

"With our new job-matching functionality, RoboticsCareer.org uniquely supports the manufacturing workforce at each stage of their career," Lisa Masciantonio, ARM Institute chief workforce officer, said in a statement. "RoboticsCareer.org was built through collaboration with subject matter experts in the ARM Institute’s national member ecosystem. When using RoboticsCareer.org, you can be confident that the foundational information the resource uses is credible and aligns with industry needs."

ARM has grown to nearly 400 member organizations across the country since its launch in 2017. It's funded by the Office of the U.S. Secretary of Defense and maintains a satellite office in St. Petersburg, Florida.
