One of Pittsburgh's fastest revenue-growing companies has expanded its senior leadership team with three new hires that will oversee various financial, technological and customer-oriented operations.

Wolfe LLC, the parent company to online gifting platforms GiftYa, Gift Card Granny, PerfectGift.com and Give InKind, announced it has hired Matthew Crummy as its chief data officer, Alfred Novas as its chief financial officer and Chad Haring as the company's senior vice president of merchant solutions. The three new hires join over 160 employees at the Green Tree-based company, more than double the 77 employees it had in August 2022.

"At this pace and size, it is no longer possible to remain a small business," Wolfe CEO and Founder Jason Wolfe said in a press release. "We have added very qualified senior leadership from major Fortune 500 companies to help us take Wolfe to the next level, and to reduce the company’s reliance on me. We are fortifying with the intent to expand even further and faster than the past four years."

Prior to his onboarding at Wolfe, Crummy served as the chief strategy officer at Strip District-based GNC Holdings LLC. His other previous posts include stints at Dick's Sporting Goods Inc., Bechtel and Booz Allen Hamilton.

Novas joins Wolfe after previously overseeing financial operations at New York-based Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery Inc. He also has held posts at Pizza Hut, Burger King and Deloitte.

And Haring, like Crummy, has worked at Dick's as well. He's also held roles at retailers Kohl's, Meijer and Justice.

Wolfe's holding companies generated $118 million in revenue in 2021, up 261% from $32.6 million in 2020 and up 742% from $14 million in 2019. That ranked it as the fastest-growing company in Pittsburgh by revenue last year, according to the Pittsburgh Business Times' Fast 50.
