One of the year's most popular student entrepreneurship events at Carnegie Mellon University has set its 2023 return date to showcase the various forms of innovation taking place on the university's Oakland campus.

Project Olympus Show & Tell, a venture put on by and hosted at the Tepper Quad-based Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship, will take place on April 13 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The event will kick off with an hour of presentations from startup founders and CMU professors. An hour of networking with light refreshments will then follow, which is also when attendees will have the chance to meet with the dozens of startup companies that are looking to share objectives and priorities for the months ahead.

"Show & Tell showcases university research, innovations, and companies," Kit Needham, director of Project Olympus and assistant dean for entrepreneurship initiatives at CMU said in a prepared statement. "Show & Tell is a hugely popular venue for connecting CMU startups with the wider business and entrepreneurial community."

Needham said ideas generated during Project Olympus have led to the formation of 240 companies, which have gone on to collectively raise $788 million in follow-on investment.

Registration to attend the free event ends on April 7.
