The 3 Rivers Venture Fair, an annual venture capital conference aimed at those residing in the greater Ohio Valley region, is extending its application and nomination deadline for consideration to be featured in the event.

Applications and nominations are now due by Jan. 9, 2023. The fair itself is being held on Feb. 7 and Feb. 8 at the Wyndham Grand hotel in downtown Pittsburgh.

Applicants are for entrepreneurs who are looking to potentially land an investment deal for their startup via a series of 20 minute meetings. During these meetings, up to a dozen other entrepreneurs are paired with investors looking to offer capital. Nominations are made by those who know of an entrepreneur who could benefit from attending the fair.

There is no cost to apply or submit a nomination, but those who are selected for the conference must pay a $99 admittance fee. Selection and pairing preference is offered to those who apply early.

The 3 Rivers Venture Fair claims that over $850 million have been raised by companies that have participated in its conference to date, and 50% of those that attend end up attracting capital.
