Data software companies Nuventive and Gray Decision Intelligence announced a strategic partnership to provide higher education institutions with improved data analytics software.

“This partnership enables institutions to make the best use of program review data to make strategic decisions while capturing progress and sharing effective practices,” David Raney, Nuventive CEO, said in a prepared statement. “Gray DI’s powerful data paired with Nuventive’s unique planning and improvement solution helps leaders ensure their program offerings align with institutional goals, resources and student needs.”

Nuventive, which is based in Wexford, provides universities with an analytics platform, the Nuventive Improvement Platform. The platform connects university improvement plans with existing data. The goal of this platform is to provide universities with data in context of potential decisions.

Data provided by Gray DI, based in Concord, Massachusetts, includes student demand both domestic and international, non-degree demand, job postings, enrollment and competition. The company says that this has helped clients to better identify program growth and efficiency opportunities, as well as better align their schools with students demands.

By including data reports provided by Gray DI, Nuventive seeks to grow their system. They expect universities to be able to better allot student resources, as well as address issues within specific programs.

“Embedding Gray DI data in Nuventive effectively aligns program performance data with specific program management decisions,” Bob Atkins, Gray DI CEO, said in a prepared statement. “The combined system will enable more frequent, accurate decisions to improve program resourcing, efficiency and student outcomes.”
