Innovation Works opened applications for the 2024 Robotics Factory Accelerate Cohort on Wednesday through Feb. 29. The program will accept up to six preseed startups for the program, which begins in June.
Innovation Works said it offers robotics startups up to $100,000 in investment, mentorship with seasoned robotics leaders and 12 months of office space at the Robotics Factory in Lawrenceville with access to an expansive prototyping workshop and robotics testing lab .
Product development resources include manufacturing boot camp, product design reviews, manufacturing toolkit templates, and one-on-one manufacturing office hours. There will also be pitching and tabling opportunity at Pittsburgh’s Robotics Discovery Day.
During the inaugural 2023 cohort, the Robotics Factory Accelerate Program provided the companies with over 500 hours of 1:1 customized support, more than 250 hours of mentorship, 18 skill-building workshops and an average of 30 stakeholder introductions per company.
