This week, AlphaLab Gear, the Innovation Works accelerator for hardware-focused startups, opened applications for its 2024 program.
According to the AlphaLab Gear website, the application period runs from Aug. 21, 2023 to Sept. 29, 2023.
The AlphaLab Gear program has been running since 2013. The timeline of the program encompasses five months starting in Jan. 2024 with Innovation Works investing $100,000 total in participating companies. Companies that are selected to participate will also receive assistance with prototyping, education sessions and mentoring. Once the program ends, companies will be able to access ongoing support in the form of potential follow-on investment from Innovation Works and access to programming and events.
The program is open to companies in various stages of development. The application is accessible online, and AlphaLab Gear is hosting a virtual information session about the program for companies who are interested on Sept. 6.
