Scottsdale-based DAS Technology took home first place in an exhibitor pitch competition at the National Automobile Dealers Association’s annual conference in Las Vegas.
DAS Technology CEO Alexi Venneri and Krys VanSlyke, vice president of customer experience and creative strategy, pitched to a panel of judges the company's platform that leverages artificial intelligence and data to help car dealers attract and retain clients.
The tech company topped nine participants in the competition, landing an additional 30-minute slot on Feb. 3 to showcase its products to automotive industry dealers and buyers, according to a company release.
Pitch contestants were judged on creativity, informational content, entertainment, succinctness and overall value proposition.
“We are very honored that DAS Technology won the exhibitor pitch competition for our CX solutions at the NADA Show,” Venneri said in a statement. “Fifty vendors applied, and 10 companies were selected to make their pitch on the NADA Show’s Live Stage. We are so excited the dealer judges voted DAS as the top solution most likely to help dealers succeed in 2024.”
At the NADA conference, DAS Technology also unveiled new platform features that leverage data and AI to help automobile dealers close more deals. Some of those features include real-time lead quoting, service messaging, expanded inventory merchandising capabilities and website targeting to uncover emails of consumers who don't submit lead forms.
NADA's conference is one of the largest automotive and trucking industry events, attracting thousands of attendees annually. This year, it was held Feb.1-4 in Las Vegas.
Significant subscription growth
DAS Technology saw a 120% increase in dealer and original equipment manufacturer subscriptions in 2023, according to the company.
“DAS Technology experienced a 120% year-over-year increase in dealer and OEM subscription growth thanks to increased client adoption of multiple SaaS, including our expanded Consumer Data and Experience Platform as well as increasing our enterprise-level endorsements and data integration partnerships,” Venneri said in an email to the Business Journal.
The company — formerly known as Digital Air Strike — rebranded to DAS Technology last year to reflect its expanded technology and five client service divisions. Those divisions include: Digital Air Strike, BestRide.com, LotVantage, Autovate and 3 Birds, which the company acquired last year.
DAS Technology has more than 170 employees with a majority of its workers based in Scottsdale.
