WebPT, one of Phoenix’s largest software companies, has named Ashley Glover as its new chief executive officer.

Glover brings more than 20 years of technology experience to the new role, most recently serving as the president of RealPage, a software as a service (SaaS) and data science company in the real estate industry.

Glover replaces Nancy Ham, who served as WebPT’s CEO for the past five years. Ham is retiring and will become the chair of the WebPT board as part of the move.

“It is an honor to take the helm at WebPT, ” Glover said in a statement. “The company has built an amazing track record as the market leading provider of physical therapy software. I was instantly drawn to the innovation, high performance culture, and a mission I can truly stand behind. Together we will continue to deliver innovative solutions, world-class service, and the advocacy the rehab therapy community needs.”

WebPT was founded in 2008 and makes software for physical therapists to manage their practices. In 2019, New York PE firm Warburg Pincus acquired a controlling stake in WebPT and made a large, multimillion dollar investment in the company, though the exact size was not disclosed publicly.

Heidi Jannenga, co-founder and chief clinical officer at WebPT, said that Glover will help guide the company during a new phase of growth.

“Nancy has been instrumental to WebPT’s tremendous success and growth over the past five years,” Jannenga said in a statement. “She has built an impressive and storied 25-year career in health care IT, one that has established her as a pioneer, thought leader, and change-maker. As WebPT moves into its next phase of growth, I look forward to working with Ashley to continue fostering innovation and growth in the rehab therapy industry.”

In August, WebPT made the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in the U.S. for the ninth year in a row, with revenue growth of 114% in the past three years. The company employs about 600 people in the Valley and it is currently looking to fill more than 30 open positions.
