Central Florida’s up-and-coming startups were busy in 2022, scoring an investment deal on “Shark Tank,” landing contracts with the U.S. military and raising millions of dollars. This year, they will build on those successes.

This week, Orlando Inno recognizes the 2023 Startups to Watch, 10 early-stage Central Florida companies to keep on the radar. These businesses were picked because they’re expected to debut new innovations, scale their businesses and do more throughout this year.

To earn the distinction, companies were required to employ fewer than 100 people, not yet have reached a Series A investment round and be 5 years old or less — or have made a significant change to the business in the last five years.

This year's winners, in alphabetical order, are:

  • ActiveComply
  • Chrp Technologies
  • Digimation
  • Kalogon
  • M3DVR
  • PhotoDay
  • Soarce
  • Spaced Ventures
  • SwiftPaws
  • Qualytics

Innovative companies with the potential for growth play a big role in the region’s economy. They create new solutions other businesses can use, contribute to the diversification and strengthening of the local economy, and produce high-wage jobs.

In fact, metro Orlando tech jobs pay an average annual wage of $90,378, well above the region’s overall $50,770, per CBRE Group Inc. (NYSE: CBRE) and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Join us at the Jan. 19 event that will honor the 2023 Startups to Watch.
