Abhishek Sastri's company developed a product to appeal to gamers and architects alike.

Orlando-based FLUIX LLC produces liquid-cooling hardware to improve computer performance. The startup gained traction in the past year through a couple of pilots with two architecture, engineering and construction workstation manufacturers and a series of endorsements and reviews by social media influencers.

Next, Sastri expects 2022 to be a big year for the 4-year-old firm. A fundraising round, a potential deal with a workstation manufacturer and an anticipated revenue bump are all on the horizon, he said.

Sastri is one of Orlando Inno's inaugural Inno Under 25 honorees, Central Florida residents who are 25 years old or younger and making significant contributions to the region's innovation ecosystem. Here's more:

Briefly explain what your business does: FLUIX unlocks the full computational power of workstations and servers by eliminating the challenge of heat with patent-pending fluid turbulent-based liquid cooling technology.

What are your firm’s greatest accomplishments of the last 12 months? $8,000 in the last four months from e-commerce sales revenue; current pilot with two business-to-business architecture, engineering and construction workstation manufacturers; raised $35,000 in non-dilutive funding; in negotiations with the second-largest architecture, engineering and construction workstation manufacturer for a $90,000 per month deal

What are your company's goals for 2022? Get five purchase orders from workstation manufacturers. Complete our seed round raise; FLUIX is raising $600,000 to ramp up production to 450 units per month with $375,000 monthly revenue in 2022. Successfully complete and distribute a 5,000-unit production run. Grow the FLUIX team, and hire a business-to-business sales and operations team.

What's the greatest business lesson you learned in the past year? Every company has to solve two problems: awareness (lack thereof) and volume (scale). I also learned that becoming a media company first, with consistent daily content, and leveraging partners to be more agile and nimble is a killer strategy to solve these problems.

What’s your go-to drink to power you through the work day? Good old H20, nothing beats keeping hydrated.
