Pivot Tech Solutions LLC has appointed a CEO.

Stacy Mill, who was previously the chief information officer and chief information security officer of Nashville Electric Service, has taken the reins, according to a press release.

Nashville-based Pivot Tech Solutions performs contract work for businesses and is an employment option for students at the company’s parent business, Pivot Technology School. Both were co-founded by Josh Mundy and Quawn Clark.

"Together, we will empower individuals with the skills and opportunities they need to thrive in this economy," Mill said in the release.

Over the past five years, Greater Nashville has gained more than 10,000 technology workers, at one of the fastest growth rates in the country, according to a 2023 Scoring Tech Talent analysis from global commercial real estate company CBRE Group Inc. (NYSE: CBRE). Nashville has historically seen a shortage of tech workforce.

In the same report, Nashville was listed as one of 13 markets with more tech jobs added then local graduates, a sign that the region continues to import talent.

Pivot Tech Solutions was created in 2022 in response to evolving job markets and growing demand for consulting opportunities. It also creates pathways for Nashville-area graduates in the tech space.

Initial clients included Brentwood-based prison operator CoreCivic (NYSE: CXW) and U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Co., which has a Nashville facility.

“We are ready to be the change we seek and look forward to being a force in the tech consulting space” said Mundy in the release.
