All the winners of the Entrepreneur Center's 2023 Next Awards

The co-founder and CEO of a health care technology company focused on specialty drugs, whose revenue is growing 25% this year, snagged top honors at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center's Next Awards on Monday night.

Brenda Motheral of Archimedes was named Entrepreneur of the Year at the event, which drew hundreds to downtown's Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Motheral employs 30 people at her tech and analytics company, whose clients include employers, health insurance plans and pharmacy benefit managers. The Brentwood-based company expects annual revenue to grow 25% this year, to $275 million.

The Entrepreneur Center also inducted four people into its Hall of Fame:

  • Jim Ayers, founder and former CEO of FirstBank and its parent, FB Financial Corp. (NYSE: FBK).
  • Saurabh Sinha, founder and former CEO of Emids Technologies Inc.
  • Shirley Zeitlin, who more than 40 years ago founded what is today Zeitlin Sotheby's International Realty.
  • Eddie George, former star running back for the Tennessee Titans.

Award winners included multiple Inc. 5000 honorees and other notable names, all listed below.

Within each category, three winners were selected: "Startup" (annual revenue less than $1 million); "Market Mover" (annual revenue of $1 million to $8 million); "Market Leader" (annual revenue beyond $8 million).
