Nashville-based TechnologyAdvice LLC, a tech marketing company, will expand its headquarters and back-office operations, according to a news release from the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

“As a hub for innovation and technology, Tennessee provides its data and tech companies with the ideal climate for growth,” said TNECD Commissioner Stuart McWhorter in the release.

Operating out of 3343 Perimeter Hill Dr., the marketing platform will spend $2.7 million on the expansion and bring 350 new jobs to Davidson County over the next five years, according to the release.

“We are proud to be a company founded in Tennessee and to grow our impact locally with top talent. As our business and employee footprint expands across the globe, we remain committed to investing in the region and fostering growth in the community that gave us our start,” TechnologyAdvice founder and CEO Rob Bellenfant said in the release.

The local company offers business-to-business marketing services to its clients, providing data and tech information to companies through its various media brands, as well as connecting buyers and sellers of business technology.

Through the expansion, TechnologyAdvice is looking to grow its line of product offerings, while maintaining services to existing tech partners, according to the release.

“TechnologyAdvice is a homegrown, small business that became a global player in tech news and marketing — a true Tennessee success story,” Tennessee state Sen. Brenda Gilmore said in the release. “By partnering with them on their next chapter, we are paving the way for 350 new jobs and strengthening Nashville’s reputation as a leader in tech media.”

TechnologyAdvice is ranked No. 19 on our list of Technology Services Firms with 23 local area tech employees as of Sept. 3, 2021.
