What’s new: Music industry veteran Charly Salvatore is launching a new Nashville-based startup called Underscore Works, according to a news release.
What they do: Underscore works provides artist management, development and marketing for country music artists who are popular on TikTok and in traditional music mediums, according to the release. The startup has signed several emerging artists, including Priscilla Block, Dalton Dover, Warren Zeiders and Logan Mize.
Why it matters: Block is a Universal Music Recording Artist, who was named a “2021 Artist to Watch” by Amazon Music, Pandora and others, according to the release.
Dover was named Spotify’s Hot Country Artists to Watch for 2022, while Dover has more than 1.6 million followers on TikTok. Mize has toured with artists such as Dierks Bentley and Lady A and is set to make his Grand Ole Opry debut this year, according to the release.
