A business strategy and technology consulting firm that is one of Seattle's largest companies has arrived in Nashville.
Slalom LLC announced its new Music City office on Thursday. It's the 41st global location for the 20-year-old company, which reported $1.82 billion of revenue in 2020, according to research from NBJ sister outlet Puget Sound Business Journal.
Slalom works with clients in 14 industries and sectors, such as health care, financial services, automotive, real estate and nonprofits. The firm's arrival speaks to the continued draw of Nashville's wide-ranging economic growth.
Slalom lists 11 job openings in Nashville, including software and data engineering and cloud computing.
A California transplant will lead the Nashville office. Don Piluso has relocated after eight years running Slalom's business in Southern California, including its Orange County, San Diego and Los Angeles offices.
"The business landscape here reminds me of when we opened Southern California — companies with strong local ties across a range of industries who want to get the most from new technologies," Piluso said in a press release.
Slalom's initial Nashville office is located in the Industrious coworking space in downtown's Gulch Crossing office building, at 1033 Demonbreun St.
