One of Nashville’s largest tech services firms has a new executive team.

Jud Wells has been named president and CEO of Bedroc Inc., an IT consulting firm specializing in advisory services, according to a news release. Wells replaces Chase Wilkinson, who after leading Bedroc for 12 years will transition to an advisory role.

“I am extremely excited about the opportunity and direction Bedroc is headed,” Wells said in the release. “Chase has done a tremendous job leading the company for the past 12 years and his reputation precedes itself. We have one of the strongest leadership teams in the industry and I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of it.”

Founded in 2009, Bedroc is No. 17 on the Business Journal's list of the largest technology service firms in Middle Tennessee, according to Nashville Business Journal research, with 48 local employees.

In addition to the CEO change, Bedroc has named Keith Moreland as its new chief operating officer and Todd Plambeck as its new chief technology officer.

The company is also adding cloud services and cybersecurity to its existing portfolio of network systems and project management services, according to the release.

“With the addition of the cloud and cybersecurity practices, this will allow us to continue to recommend cutting edge technology for complex IT environments. We are excited to formalize these offerings in a structured approach that allows corporate entities to continuously improve efficiencies and desired business outcomes,” Plambeck said in the release.
