Trucking logistics
Nashville-based GoodShip has raised a $7.39 million round of funding.
logoboom

Company name: GoodShip Inc.

Amount raised: $7.39 million, according to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing

What they do: Founded in 2022, Nashville-based GoodShip’s analytics platform enables shippers and carriers to improve and measure contract freight networks, according to an unrelated news release from last year. The company’s platform supports rail, intermodal and all truckload equipment types within the U.S. and Canada, according to GoodShip’s website, but does not currently work with ocean or air freight.

Why it matters: Nashville continues to grow as a logistics and supply chain hub, anchored by global transport and logistics firm Geodis in Americas. The addition of Nashville offices for Amazon and San Francisco-based KeepTrucking, as well as the launch of logistics tech startups, such as Qualle, have also bolstered the industry locally.

What the funds will be used for: GoodShip CEO Ryan Soskin declined to comment.
