A Wisconsin technology solutions provider focused on the medical space has moved its headquarters to Clearwater, Florida.
DeliverHealth announced Wednesday it has moved its headquarters from Madison to a "customer experience center" it says is now open in a 10,000-square-foot space in Clearwater. The company said the region's rising tech status was a main factor for the relocation, citing a 2021 Forbes article that stated Tampa is the top emerging tech city in the nation.
DeliverHealth offers software to simplify electronic health records, patient engagement and revenue cycles. Its new space will be home to more than two dozen employees, with more job openings in 2022.
“We know that one of the biggest barriers to technology innovation and adoption in health care is implementation and optimization," Michael Clark, CEO of DeliverHealth, said in a statement. "Thus, the center will enable us to be more hands-on with our customers, partners and prospects, offering them greater support and engagement as they seek to not only learn more about our platform offerings but also solving the greater issue in the healthcare industry."
The company was founded in 2020 and has offices in the U.K., India, Canada and Australia. It's grown in recent months, namely through a March acquisition of San Francisco-based PresidioHealth, which is also a healthtech company. DeliverHealth now works with roughly 800 clients across 2,200 facilities.
DeliverHealth joins a growing list of companies that moved to the region this spring, including an Arizona-based business accelerator and investment fund, a Seattle-based IT firm and a Prague-based global data company that just closed $35 million.
