Founded in April 2020 by a group of former GE Healthcare and Direct Supply executives, Novir offers full-service on-site Covid-19 testing and vaccinations supported by its TRACK software platform, as well as self-service capabilities through its remote health care service INSTA OnSite.

Novir also announced Thursday the launch of its telehealth screening program Virtual Proctoring, designed to enable businesses and employees convenient access to testing at home or work.

Since its founding, Novir has evolved to focus on early screening and health care prevention through employers. It serves more than 500 customers in six industries across the country, according to a press release. Its customers include businesses, schools, camps, clinics and pharmacies.

"We are committed to being a partner with the city and county of Milwaukee to continue and expand access to vital healthcare services pre and post-pandemic to ensure businesses remain open," Novir president and CEO Alexander Kempe said in a statement.

Novir's rapid antigen and antibody tests are manufactured in Milwaukee through contract manufacturing firm MPE Inc.
