Wisconsin Inno, a sister publication of the Milwaukee Business Journal, is seeking nominations for the annual Fire Awards, our premier program that honors companies and organizations that are heating up the state's startup and technology ecosystem.
Submit your Fire Awards nominations here by Oct. 15. Please be as detailed as possible, explaining why the nominee is making an impact in Wisconsin's technology and startup scene, with examples of milestones they've achieved in the past 12 months.
We're looking to highlight startup and technology companies of all sizes — as well as accelerators, venture capital firms, meetup groups and nonprofits — that have been "on fire" this year with accomplishments such as IPOs; acquisitions; major funding rounds; rapid hiring growth; new product launches; significant efforts around diversity, equity and inclusion; and other important milestones.
This year, the Wisconsin Inno and Business Journal staff will select 25 honorees across five categories to highlight in future editorial features. Along with a panel of local judges, we'll also choose five Blazers (winners) from the group of honorees.
The 2020 Fire Awards included 30 winners across the state in industries ranging from biotechnology to software and across categories such as growth, impact and community. See past year's honorees here:
