Circa, a Milwaukee-based recruiting software company formerly known as LocalJobNetwork, has acquired Colorado-based DiversityJobs, according to a Wednesday announcement.

Founded in 1994, Circa is owned by Infosoft Group LLC. In addition to recruiting products, it provides technology for complying with the U.S. Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), which requires federal contractors to take affirmative action and follow non-discrimination laws in hiring.

DiversityJobs, legally known as LatPro Inc., will become a subsidiary of Infosoft. The employment site connects underrepresented applicants with employers and also has OFCCP compliance solutions.

"This helps to accelerate Circa's continued growth and positions Circa as the leader in diversity-focused talent acquisition solutions," Circa CEO Patrick Sheahan said in a statement. "The joining of the two companies shows our commitment to being the industry leader of best-in-class products to solve workforce diversity, talent acquisition and compliance management for companies."

Sheahan previously was president and CEO of Brookfield-based OnCourse Learning Corp. until 2018.

Located at 1000 N. Water St. in Milwaukee, Circa has more than 5,000 customers and 15,500 community partnerships, according to a press release. Last year, it sourced diverse talent for more than 5 million jobs through its distribution network of recruitment portals.
