Bucks Gaming, the Milwaukee Bucks NBA 2K League team, is adding another Wisconsin brand to its list of sponsorship partners.
The entity recently announced a two-year partnership with Chippewa Falls-based Spectrum Industries Inc., a maker of computer lab and office lab furniture. Spectrum Industries also offers video gaming chairs and desks designed for esports.
The two-year partnership will focus on esports advocacy through a community engagement program, partnering on esports furniture and product design, and collaborative marketing initiatives, according to both organizations. As part of the community engagement initiative, the two will give one local nonprofit or high school in the Milwaukee area an opportunity to win gaming systems and furniture to launch their own esports program.
“We are excited to partner with Bucks Gaming and collaboratively advance esports in our region and across the nation," said Scott Dorn, an executive vice president with Spectrum Industries, in a statement. "Our community engagement initiative is an anchor part of our partnership and we are also thrilled to have the opportunity to work collaboratively with their team to design the next generation of esports arena and home gaming products.”
Earlier this year, Bucks Gaming announced it had sealed a partnership with La Crosse-based Kwik Trip Inc.
