Wisconsin startup accelerator gener8tor is moving its OnRamp Manufacturing Conference to a virtual setting due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Originally scheduled to take place at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis in partnership with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation on Oct. 14, gener8tor says the virtual conference will attract more than 400 startups along with representatives of companies, corporate venture capital funds and venture capitalists. The event will include one-on-one pitch sessions between startups and investors and accelerator operators.
The deadline for startups to apply is Sept. 4.
More than 100 corporations and VC firms are scheduled to participate in the conference, including Wisconsin manufacturing companies Rockwell Automation and Kohler Co. and Minnesota-based company 3M. Other names include GM and Honda.
The conference will include discussions about disruption and innovation the manufacturing industry and highlighting the leaders behind those innovations.
