The Medical Technology Management Institute, an educational institution focused on medical imaging and health tech, has moved its international headquarters from Menomonee Falls to the Milwaukee County Research Park in Wauwatosa, the organization recently announced.

Established in 1989, MTMI Global provides over 7,000 continuing education and training programs per year for various medical and healthcare fields, including radiography, mammography, computed tomography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and radiation oncology.

The organization has trained more than 150,000 people in the past three decades.

In addition to their new headquarters in Wauwatosa, MTMI Global is also expanding into Texas with a regional office in Houston. The 80,000-square-foot Technology Innovation Center within the Milwaukee County Research Park provides working and development space to dozens of emerging companies in the Greater Milwaukee region.

In January of 2019, MTMI was acquired by The College of Health Care Professionals, which is based in Houston and is the largest trainer of allied health professionals in Texas.

"As the need for qualified professionals in the healthcare industry continues to increase, MTMI Global's commitment to flexibility and multimodality is more important than ever to provide continuing education training for licensure requirements to professional students in the field of medical imaging," said Jon Patterson, president of CHCP digital services and online and MTMI. "The opening of this new international headquarters reflects our work to partner with employers from across the globe to deliver customized, on-demand skills education and training that meets the needs of each professional student."
