Carvana, the online vehicle retailer offering “as-soon-as-next-day” delivery, has opened up shop in Green Bay and Appleton.
The e-commerce platform for buying and selling cars made its Wisconsin debut in Milwaukee last year. With the company’s latest expansion, Green Bay and Appleton residents will be able to finance, purchase, trade-in, or shop from a selection of more than 15,000 vehicles using the company’s website or mobile app.
Customers also have the option to sell their current vehicle without purchase, and receive an offer within minutes, the company says.
Each Carvana vehicle is photographed in 360-degrees allowing customers to take a virtual car tour, and is certified following a 150-point inspection to ensure vehicle features and safety.
The vehicles — which can be delivered in as little as 24 hours — come with a seven-day return policy.
Carvana stakes its claim by saving its customers time and money by skipping the dealership and leveraging the convenience of shopping online.
The company first grabbed the attention of consumers and investors in 2013 when it opened its first car vending machine concept. Today, Carvana operates 17 car vending machines, including an 8-story, coin-operated machine in Chicago.
Including Green Bay and Appleton, the company has grown its presence to 124 U.S. cities.
