Madison logistics tech company SwanLeap was ranked No. 1 on Deloitte’s 2018 North America Technology Fast 500 list.
The list ranks tech companies based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth from 2014 to 2017. It said SwanLeap has grown revenue more than 77,000 percent over that time period.
SwanLeap, which is also one of the companies on Wisconsin Inno’s 50 on Fire list, was recently ranked No. 1 on another high-profile list of fast-growing companies. In August, SwanLeap was the fastest-growing company on the Inc. 5000.
Founded in 2013 under the name ClearView Audit, the startup rebranded earlier this year to SwanLeap. SwanLeap’s logistics software uses artificial intelligence to help companies automate their supply chain.
The software helps them make better shipping decisions, like deciding whether an order should be shipped via freight or parcel delivery. SwanLeap has around 70 total employees, 50 of which work in Madison.
The only other Wisconsin company on Deloitte’s list was Exact Sciences, which ranked No. 8 with more than 14,000 percent growth.
"It is both humbling and validating for SwanLeap to be listed as the No. 1 fastest-growing company on the Deloitte Fast 500," said SwanLeap CEO Brad Hollister in a statement. "Our team has worked relentlessly to deliver unprecedented clarity and control to a fragmented shipping market through technology powered by artificial intelligence, curating cost-effective and personalized supply chain recommendations in real time. We are grateful to our employees and customers for making this achievement possible."
