Eight Wisconsin companies will join thousands of tech enthusiasts at CES this week to showcase their products during one of the largest trade shows on the planet.

Held in Las Vegas January 7-10, the annual consumer technology conference attracts more than 175,000 attendees, including the nearly 4,500 companies who set up shop on the exhibit floor.

The event is widely considered a launching pad for innovation, drawing the interest of investors, journalists, and consumers alike, who attend the conference to get a first look at what gadgets and gizmos could make the next big splash. It is also a meeting of some of the most notable minds in business, where topics at the intersection of tech — such as privacy, security, and accessibility — are discussed on a global stage.

With all of the action, Wisconsin companies are hoping to leave a mark. Here are the statewide companies exhibiting at this year’s CES show:

Kohler: The kitchen and bath design company has unveiled five new products at this year’s CES conference, including a showerhead with wireless smart speaker; a touchless faucet that can dispense specific amounts of water when connected to a voice assistant; and a touchless toilet with a sensor-activated flush lever.

Clarios: The CES show will be the first introduction to Clarios, after the company launched earlier this year. Formerly Johnson Controls Power Solutions, the company will showcase its growing portfolio of battery technology for “virtually every type of vehicle,” especially as they require more connectivity.

LaCrosse Technology: The Lacrosse Technology family of brands is best known for its weather stations that bring “time and weather together.” The company provides wireless weather solutions and atomic timepieces to help companies and people plan their day.

Meeper Technology: Meeper toy products provide a STEM learning platform to help students learn robotics, coding and building experiences. CEO and computer scientist Liz Eversoll has made it a priority to close the STEM gap.

Fasetto: The technology solutions company is showcasing an in-person presentation application that allows an individual to present on any phone, tablet or laptop regardless of platform or network, and other tech products that expand and enable media sharing between multiple devices.

Hydraloop Systems: One of the winners of the CES Innovation Design awards, the Hydraloop is a residential water recycle system. According to the company, the technology recycles 85 percent of domestic water, and cleans and disinfects shower, bath and washing machine water so it can be reused for these and other household water uses.

ProClip USA: Headquartered in Madison, ProClip USA is the exclusive distributor of Brodit-branded in-vehicle device mounting solutions. The phone holders and mounts keep a device in-view and can prevent the dangerous “fumbling” that occurs out on the road.

Synca Wellness: For attendees looking to relax after walking the exhibit floor, Synca Wellness may have the solution. The luxury health brand has a full line of award-winning massage chairs and accessories available for demo.
