In fall 2022, MBJ spoke to Hemp2Lab president and CEO Bill Margaritis about the public perception of CBD products, which he believed would improve as time passed.

“I don't think this industry is facing, at this stage of growth, anything different than perhaps what other new industries have faced in the past,” Margaritis said at the time. “There is a growing process, and a learning process, for consumers, where education, confidence, and comfort level are important.”

Fast-forward to the present, and both the confidence and comfort level seem to have increased for the Rossville-based manufacturer of CBD products and nutraceuticals. Because Hemp2Lab has recently scored partnerships with prominent names.

In early August, the company announced it was working with WWE heavyweight champion Bill Goldberg to launch a new line of wellness products designed to maximize nutrient delivery and athletic performance.

That same month, Hemp2Lab revealed it had struck a deal with The Vitamin Shoppe, the New Jersey-based retailer of nutritional supplements that has around 700 stores nationwide.

Now, it’s announced a collaboration with another notable name: Kenneth Cole.

The fashion and lifestyle brand has partnered with Hemp2Lab to launch a new line of CBD products that look to promote healing while nourishing the skin.

"We are thrilled to launch a scientifically advanced skin care and wellness line of products to consumers under the respected Kenneth Cole brand,” Margaritis said in a press release. “Our unique formulation and provenance of botanical ingredients provide superior performance and value to consumers.”

According to the release, the products are free of chemicals and parabens and use Hemp2Lab’s liposomal delivery system, which Margaritis has said allows Hemp2Lab’s products to provide more nutrients than alternative options.

Currently, Kenneth Cole’s CBD line has six offerings: Clean Slate, a facial cleanser; Save Face, a daily facial moisturizer; Dream On, an anti-aging night serum; That’s Better, a muscle relief cream; Feel Good, a joint relief salve; and Easy Glow, a replenishing eye stick.

Hemp2Lab has a 10,000-square-foot facility in Rossville, where it’s brought the entire production process under one roof. It has a private and white label segment, and through this, it can produce a variety of CBD products for customers, which they can in turn take to the market.

The company also has its own product line, Precise CBD, which is found in health and wellness centers. And Hemp2Lab has expanded in scope, by offering nutraceuticals — natural pharmaceutical alternatives — that address a variety of health and wellness needs.
