What’s been critical to your company’s success?

Differentiating ourselves from the competition has played a huge role in our growing success. Better Blend does smoothies completely differently than everyone else. We are a meal replacement that is high in protein, vitamins and minerals while being low in calories, carbs, sugars and fats.

We are in constant pursuit of what our customer needs to make it easier for them to reach their goals through nutrition. It’s not easy to eat healthily, but our products make it easier by creating indulgent flavors that satisfy your sweet tooth and your waistline.

What’s driving your growth?

The driving force behind Better Blend’s expansion is our unwavering dedication to the communities we cater to, as well as the individuals we bring on board to serve these communities.

Better Blend’s pivotal goal is to foster a happier and healthier world by providing accessible options for nutritious eating to all. Our recently enlisted franchisees align with our vision and share our relentless commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of the communities they operate in.

Do you expect to hire in 2024? If so, how many?

Yes, we do. Better Blend will likely hire about 100 employees in 2024.

Why scale your company from Kentucky or Southern Indiana?

Cost of living: Kentucky and Southern Indiana have lower costs of living compared to many other states, particularly metropolitan areas like New York or California. This can result in lower operating costs for businesses, including lower rents and expenses.

Business-friendly environment: Both Kentucky and Indiana have been recognized for their business-friendly environments, offering various incentives and tax benefits for companies. This includes grants, tax credits and low corporate taxes, which can be advantageous for startups and small businesses looking to scale.

Proximity to major markets: Kentucky and Southern Indiana are strategically located within a day's drive of major markets such as Chicago, Atlanta, and Nashville. This proximity allows companies to easily expand their customer base and reach a larger market without significant logistical challenges.
