Explain what your company does: OrgVitals provides data analysis and predictive insights to organizations and consultants leading organizational development and transformation as they prepare for the future of work.

What are some major milestones in the company’s history?

  • OrgVitals emerged from Unitonomy about halfway through 2021 when we launched the beta of our new cloud-based system and raised our pre-seed round.
  • Kristina Rodriguez and Patrick Kinsella joined in Q3, growing the team to 9.
  • Launched blockchain-based surveys in Q3 to provide an employee feedback mechanism that’s anonymous, confidential and highly secure.
  • Launched a data reporting feature called the Areas of Focus Report in Q4.
  • Just launched a new product called PACT to kickoff 2022: a data-driven workflow for strategic initiatives, work groups and ERGs.

What is your company working on right now?

We’re preparing a radical approach to the future of support for the future of work. We are leveraging OrgVitals work determinants of health data models to help individuals track and understand their work stress. The product is called Pacity, a DAO-based [decentralized autonomous organization] virtual city that serves as a wellness and health exchange between members and providers. Our mission is to help people find capacity through data and human connection. To learn more and read the whitepaper, please visit Pacity.xyz.

What’s on the horizon for your company in 2022?

For OrgVitals, 2022 is about getting out in front of where the world is headed. A new era of work is unfolding faster than anyone realizes. We’re seeing the impact of remote work and isolation, of people resigning from their jobs at an historic rate, and of Gen Z demanding new environments with more flexibility. From our data, we see a common thread of this seismic shift: work stress, which our research suggests determines about 40% of your overall health. There’s a generational opportunity to take the technical advancements of Web3, which are unlocking a wave of community-driven possibilities, and be the first Web3, game-like health and wellness exchange geared to support and incentivize Gen Z and Millennials.

Why grow your company from Kentucky?

I’ve been leading remote teams since 2009, so I’ve long known it’s possible to create great software and games from anywhere. Since I moved back to Kentucky in 2015, it’s been great to see the support for the startup community strengthen.
