Explain what your company does: BioProducts LLC provides unique profitability solutions for agricultural residue through its patented technologies. Utilizing agricultural farm and process residue, our technologies deliver xylose (a zero calorie sugar), carbon neutral biocoal (a drop in replacement for coal) and high surface area activated carbons for multiple applications.

What are some major milestones in the company’s history?

  • Secured world-wide exclusive license from University of Louisville to commercialize the relevant technologies,

What is your company working on right now?

The company is preparing to move in to new facilities that will also house its demonstration plant. Working with multiple potential customers to convert their biomass residue in to revenue streams. Developing food applications and new food markets for its zero calorie sweetener, Xylose.

What’s on the horizon for your company in 2022?

Move in to new facilities and start the demonstration plant. A demonstration/commercial plant utilizing stillage from distilleries is being designed.
