A Kansas City, Kansas, company is on this year's Deloitte Technology Fast 500 — the only company based in Kansas or Missouri to make the ranking.

Full Scale made the list, which Deloitte says acknowledges the fastest-growing, innovative tech companies in North America. The company ranked No. 204 on this year's version, based on 734% revenue growth from 2018 to 2021.

Founded in 2018, Full Scale works primarily with software companies, providing services such as web and mobile app development. It helps companies overcome tech talent shortages by having access to its developers. The company ranked No. 15 on the Kansas City Business Journal's Fastest-Growing Technology Companies List, with approximately $7 million in revenue last year, up 26.3% from 2020.

“I like to say that we’re built by founders for founders,” Full Scale co-founder and CEO Matt DeCoursey said during a previous interview.

To qualify for the Fast 500, companies must own a proprietary property or proprietary technology that’s sold to customers in products or services and comprises a majority of operating revenue. The businesses also must be at least 4 years old and generate a minimum of $5 million in current annual revenue.

DeCoursey also received a big honor last year, landing on the Forbes Next 1000 List, which honors the “upstart entrepreneurs redefining the American dream.”
