A fast-growing Kansas City company that uses technology to lease big rigs has a new key employee.
Cory Dorzek was hired in April as president to drive strategic initiatives, including joint ventures, acquisitions and new revenue sources for FoxPoint Trucks LLC, which operates as OTR Leasing. He also will pursue opportunities to scale the company, according to a release.
OTR Leasing has a track record of rapid growth. The company, based in Pleasant Valley in the Northland, ranked No. 31 on the Kansas City Business Journal’s Fast 50 list of the area’s fastest-growing companies in 2019, based on a three-year annual growth rate of 50.58%. For that list, OTR Leasing had $14.8 million in 2019 revenue.
In September 2021, it announced it had raised $85 million in capital from Boston-based Gordon Brothers.

Dorzek most recently worked as chief commercial officer and CFO for Premier Trailer Leasing, a national trailer rental and leasing company. He has more than 15 years of investment banking industry experience from jobs on Wall Street, including Wells Fargo Securities, Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., and Bear Stearns & Co. Inc.
