Aspiria campus residents, visitors and employees alike soon will be able to connect in an all-in-one app.
Wichita-based Occidental Management and Kansas City-based technology company Crema launched the Aspiria App, a custom-designed tool for the 207-acre Overland Park corporate campus.
The app aims to be the central source of information for users, including navigating the campus and sharing information about activities. It also has the back-end infrastructure for on-campus communication.
Travis Bradshaw, Crema's director of growth, said the company sees opportunities in property technology, especially as organizations navigate developing hybrid-work environments.
"This project is one of the core targets that we work with, and we are continuing to further that," Bradshaw said. "It's a niche experience for a niche industry, and our relationship with Aspiria is one that we really value, and we're happy to see what they're doing there and for the region by redeveloping that campus."
Crema co-founders George Brooks and Dan Linhart launched the custom software-maker in 2009, and it now has just more than 55 employees, the majority being in the metro area. The agency, at 1815 Central St., specializes in working with cybersecurity industries, global consultancies, fintech, engineering and more.
Tenants at the former Sprint Corp. campus include TreviPay, CreativeOne, Yellow Corp. and TTEC Holdings Inc. Occidental aims to turn the property into a live/work/play destination that will span 6.34 million square feet, including 3.97 million square feet of office in 17 existing buildings. Occidental also plans new-build offices and residential.
“We are laser-focused on delivering services and amenities to connect and benefit the tenants and their top-talent employees at Aspiria,” Occidental Management President Chad Stafford said in a release. “We will continue to build upon the features in this initial launch in the future.”
