Jacksonville-based Revalize, an international company that connects manufacturers with customers, has appointed a new CEO .

Michael Sabin will take over as CEO, effective immediately, replacing Jim Contardi, who has been the CEO of Revalize since its formation in June 2021.

Contardi was responsible for bringing together the five companies that initially made up Revalize, bringing together businesses that help manufacturers sell equipment ranging from industrial pumps to restaurant stoves to architectural lighting.

Contardi became head of Jacksonville-based AutoQuotes in 2019, after it was acquired by private equity firm Luminate Capital Partners. In 2021, Luminate sold the software company to Boston-based TA Associates, who rolled up a number of other companies that help with design applications, engineering simulations, product selection, configure-price-quote software, product information management applications, visualization and data analytics.

The combination brought together AutoQuotes — which was so named because it helped designers automatically get pricing quotes on restaurant equipment — with Configure One, which provides configure-price-quote software for a variety of manufacturing sectors; a similar company called FPX; Engineered Software, which has a product catalog product and a fluid handling system simulation product; and Lighting Analysts, which makes a simulation tool for the architectural lighting industry.

The company than expanded into a variety of related fields, situating it to work with manufacturers all the way from the point that a product is being designed up until a customer buys the item, and work around the globe.

Before assuming the helm at Revalize, Sabin spent three years as CEO of SNH Automotive Group, comprised of the National Credit Center and Promax. Previously, he held multiple senior leadership positions at the Dun & Bradstreet Corp., including overseeing Global Business Solutions as executive vice president and general manager.

Revalize has grown substantially under the leadership of Contardi, reacjomg a broader customer base and expanded its portfolio.

“It’s been a privilege to support Revalize through its formation and rapid growth over the last two years,” Contardi said. “Most gratifying has been building out the depth and capability of our team and targeting new investments to better address the evolving business challenges that our customers are facing. I’m grateful that Mike shares a passion for our space and appreciates the company’s culture - I’m confident he’ll take Revalize to the next level.”
